Hi, I’m Charlotte

An energetic, loving and passionate Primary Tutor from West Sussex who enjoys supporting children in their learning to be the best version of themselves.

Teaching Career

I qualified as a Primary Teacher in 2019 and have since taught across Early Years to Year 6, covering all Key Stage 1 and 2 curricula. Every child has unique, individual ideas and perspectives; my job is to provide children with tools to build self-esteem, confidence, knowledge, and understanding. By building positive relationships with all different types of learners, I can relate learning to children in a way they will enjoy.

Tutoring

I’ve been tutoring for over three years in the West Sussex area for children across Key Stages 1 – 3. I provide rigorous and thoughtful mentoring to students online and face-to-face, using various teaching strategies to suit the learner. I aim to help children be better prepared to succeed academically by positively affecting their confidence. For many years, I have successfully supported students in maths, phonics, reading and writing skills such as spelling grammar, punctuation, and writing to inform, entertain and persuade. I aim to ensure every session is engaging, challenging, and tailored to each individual based on their needs. Making learning fun positively affects motivation levels, determining what we learn and how much we retain information. Learning requires repetition and dedication; if the experience engages learners, they will stay curious and keep returning for more.
